Pastor David Toulson was saved as a seven-year-old boy and surrender to the ministry at age sixteen.  Uncertain of exactly what ministry God had for him, he attended Bob Jones University and graduated in 1984 with a BA in Bible.  Following college, God used ministry opportunities in teaching, coaching, Youth Pastoring, music, and finance to prepare him for the ministry of pastoring.  Prior to coming to Victory, he pastored for 14 years in Georgia and North Carolina.  In 2018, the Lord led Pastor Toulson to become the pastor of VBC.

Pastor Toulson met his wife, Shelena while they were both in college.  They were married June 10, 1983.  Shelena is a vital part of the ministry of Pastor Toulson at Victory Baptist and serves as the church secretary.  Pastor and Shelena live in Zephyrhills.  They have been blessed with four wonderful daughters -- DiAnne (1985), Jennifer (1987), Victoria (1989), and Brittany (1993) married to Jackie Elwart.  Each of their daughters attended Christian college and are serving the Lord in full-time ministry.  They also have three beautiful granddaughters, two grandsons, and are eagerly awaiting the birth of another grandchild. 

Pastor and Shelena have a real heart for God’s work and His people.  We are blessed and so grateful God led them to Victory Baptist Church.
